We arrived to a soon to be very wet Byron Bay. Having endured living in the car and freezing every night we decided to splash out on a cabin and it is in the top ten great idea for the holiday as it hasn't stopped raining since our first night.
You cannot live in Australia without experiencing surfing, so finally we decided to give it a go.
Much to our amazement we achually got up (see proof). It's an excellent experience though hard work.
Besides the diving and surfing we managed to fit in a bit of walking around the lighthouse. We also managed to get a couple of scenic pictures in between the rains.
By the time we got our advanced diving ticket, Steve was beginning to get a cold so we decided to get to Sydney as quick as possible and start the car sales process. I thought I'll put in a picture of 'Wombie', our furry front passenger.
