From Manyallaluk we went back to Katherine to check out the car. It was like we were destined to stay there. We stayed at this bat infested campsite near some hot springs (bats are extremely vocal creatures).
We left early the next morning stopping in Mataranka on the way to the start of our trek across to the east at Three Ways.
On the way to Bundaberg, we saw some amazing sunsets. One evening, we were driving through very flat land, you could see for miles around, so we had the sunsetting 360 degrees around us. This is a sample Steve took one night.
A visit to Bundaberg would not be complete without a visit to the famous rum distillery.
